Irish Canal Digger Tour

See the I&M Canal through the eyes of the Irish immigrants that settled the area and dug the canal. Tour the famous cemetery at St. James at Sag Bridge where many canal workers are buried. Eat lunch at the nearby Irish Legend, then it’s off to Aux Sable to view the locktender’s house and Ottawa’s Reddick Mansion. Finally, ride the mule pulled La Salle Canal Boat up the canal, listening to interesting stories and learning about the lives of the canal workers in the 1800′s.
